Super Full Moon in Aquarius 11/12th August 2022 at 19 degrees. Liberation!

There is an exciting and urgent energy to this Full Moon as pressure builds from a Grand cross formation, that can culminate and find release at this Full Moon. These exciting energies are paving the way to liberation and freedom, setting us free from any self-limiting or external restraints.

The Full Moon is part of a Grand cross constellation; building up tension and pressure that needs to be released by taking action. We have been feeling the pressure building the past two weeks as Mars, Uranus and the North Node of fate in Taurus joined together. An alignment that is both explosive and liberating and are now making a tense aspect to the Full Moon, Saturn and the South Node.

The Grand cross represents an urgent need to release and to liberate ourselves from everything that has been blocking our way to happiness and personal freedom.

Emotions can run high, where you may have felt stuck or stagnant, we can now experience a real breakthrough as there is a revolutionary feel and pioneering energy, onward to new horizons.

Uranus the ruling planet of the Full Moon together with Mars has the ultimate mission of promoting higher self-awareness.

Uranus awakens your need for freedom; and when Mars meets up with Uranus, the freedom you need comes in the form of self-expression and independent direction.

With so much vibrating energy, we need to be able to direct energy toward goals and activities that excite us, without being held back by worries over what others will think of you.

Failing to do so might mean a lot of nervous energy, expressed as erratic behavior that disrupt (rather than energies) others.

Once you find your passionate interest and give yourself permission to pursue it, there is much potential for brilliance…Even genius. Enabling you to take the needed steps to put your new life into action.

Venus enters the sign of Leo on the same day of the Full Moon, with both the Sun and Venus now in Leo, it’s time to put yourself in focus. 

Just as the Sun, the ruling Planet of Leo, does not orbit around other planets, we too need to stop orbiting around others and concentrate on cultivating a healthy ego and our own magnificence.

Our power of attraction is at its strongest when we shine. So shine and attract, what your heart desires. Whether it be love, happiness or good luck. We have the power now, to attract those things into our life as Jupiter in Aries magnifies the star power of Venus in Leo over the next two weeks. A fiery, dynamic and passionate combination.

Just as the Sun, we each have an eternal flame of light burning inside of us. We can let that flame burn even brighter now. We now have a powerful opportunity to generate and create more love, joy, passion, open hearts as well as a love for life.

The Full Moon in Aquarius is joined together with Saturn, the wise but strict teacher, the lord of karma who reminds us that our time and energy on planet earth is limited. He is the timekeeper of our soul’s journey and our soul’s plan. He is the big hand on our ticking karmic clock that sets the karmic clock in motion, triggering our next important lesson to be learnt, so that we can evolve. Some of Saturn’s most important lessons are ones of self-mastery, maturity and responsibility. Saturn requires that we put in the work and effort within and without, face reality and our fears.

Now on the last phase of his three year journey through Aquarius and the last time he will be conjunct a Full Moon in Aquarius for the next 30 years, we can take stock now and look back at just how far we have come on our path, working towards the Aquarian themes of inner and outer freedom and growth. Saturn initiated a time of great rapid evolution and change, that began at the Great conjunction in Aquarius in Dec 2020 and the Saturn-Uranus square. 

So much has been changing and shifting. Take pride now, in all the amazing things you have achieved so far, how you’ve surfed the rough waves, only to come through safely and know you will just keep getting better and stronger.

Saturn in Aquarius has been eliminating all that hinders your personal growth, teaching us to release and detach from every person, every circumstance, every condition, and every situation that no longer serves a divine purpose in our life.

What have you liberated yourself from and what do you need to keep on releasing and letting go in order to move forward?

Saturn teaches us the need for healthy boundaries and the need for limitation in any extreme behavior and to let go of any self-limiting beliefs, lack of self-worth and self-love.

When we practice self-love, healthy boundaries come naturally.

The emotional foundation upon we stand, has become much stronger, our wisdom and self-love has grown so that we can navigate our way through life’s challenges with greater ease. Better than before, we can hold the light in the darkness to help others find their way.

Where have you gained more wisdom in your life, especially around issues of deeply ingrained emotional patterns that you may have repeated time and time again? And where do you still have work to do?

In what areas do you feel more emotionally secure within yourself and how have you learned to set healthier boundaries?

The ruler of the Moon, the planet Uranus, represents freedom from our all too fixed ideas and to what we have been holding onto for too long. This can be negative thoughts, old habits or staying with people or in situations that we have out grown. Uranus teaches the gift of non-attachment. .

As we learn to practice non-attachment, we can accept what comes allowing it to leave when it’s time. Trusting that what’s meant for us will come to us effortlessly.

At this Full Moon take the time to reflect upon what you have been holding onto for too long and consciously work on releasing and letting go.

Letting go isn’t about having the courage to release the past – it’s about having the wisdom and strength to embrace the present and the person you have evolved too. 

One of the most rewarding and important moments in life is the moment you finally find the courage to let go of what you can’t change. When you let go of how it “should” be, you ignite the full potential of how it CAN be from this moment forward. Happiness, then, is ultimately letting go of what you think your life is supposed to be like right now and sincerely appreciating it for everything that it is, and making the very best of it.

We can use this concentrated power to make plans and in-vision our future. It contains a tremendous possibility to leap into new ways of being in our lives. A new life based on the Aquarian values of freedom, one that honors our own special uniqueness and personal liberation.

Uranus is the revolutionary and bringer of change and is pushing the reset button to enable us to live a life of inner and outer freedom based on our uniqueness and inner truth. We are being pushed to evolve and out of our comfort zones.

The Full Moon in Aquarius reminds us that our true essence is that of a free spirit. It’s our birthright and our innate nature to be completely free. 

We find happiness when we have the freedom to be who we really are. True freedom starts from within. 

We have a unique chance to see things from an entirely new perspective, enabling us to break through the chains of fear, negativity and stagnation.

It’s time to leave the past behind and reinvent yourself. Celebrate your uniqueness and your individuality.
