Aquarius New Moon, 11th February 2021 at 23 degrees. The Ultimate Utopian Dream.

The extraordinary astrology of 2021 continues with the New Moon in Aquarius, mirroring the extraordinary times that we are living in. Jupiter in Aquarius, once again reigns over the current astrology and so does the message of hope that he brings.

Jupiter’s journey and message of hope for humanity, is one that began at the Jupiter -Saturn conjunction, when both Planets aligned together at 0 degrees, heralding in a new age. This continued at the last Full Moon when Jupiter exactly conjoined with the Sun and now, at this New Moon, is exactly conjoined to Venus.

Jupiter conjunct Venus is one of the best astrology aspects, as Jupiter brings expansion, optimism and good fortune. It’s a combination that promises abundance and joy of all Venus-ruled matters in love, relationships, creative endeavours and finances. Opportunities and fulfilment are especially to be found in those typical Aquarius ruled areas, such as through friendships, groups, communities and like-minded people and finding “your tribe”.

Yet another remarkable celestial event taking place at this New Moon, is that six out of the eight Planets in our solar system, are currently all in the sign of Aquarius. This feels like the ultimate utopian dream…. This last happened in February 1962. A time that saw the beginning of major cultural shifts in society and a counterculture movement that spread globally. The Civil rights movement was gaining momentum and the Hippie explosion shaped the modern world as we know it. The Hippie movement was in its essence, a brotherhood among people of all races and ethnicity, all Aquarian themes. Preaching a motto of love and kindness, likewise, the present Aquarian concentrated energy is heralding in a new era.

We will witness many changes this year as Saturn square Uranus will continue to shake up the unshakable that will help to carve out a new humanitarian and fairer society. The first of three Saturn square Uranus aspects will take place on the 17th February, just six days after the New Moon in Aquarius. We are witnessing a rebirth, a renaissance of our societies and our world as we know it.

As the Moon renews its self, so too can we, renew and reinvent ourselves at this New Moon. With so much concentrated energy this is a powerful time to set our intentions.

What we hold in our thoughts and intentions at this time will reverberate throughout time, space and all dimensions.

We can use this concentrated power to make plans and in-vision our future. It contains a tremendous possibility to leap into new ways of being in our lives. A new life based on the Aquarian values of freedom, one that honours our own special uniqueness and personal liberation.

These are indeed exceptional times, with so many planets in Aquarius and Mercury retrograde, we have a unique chance to see ourselves and others from a completely new perspective with the necessary detachment so that we can gain complete clarity in our lives on every level. There has been much confusion the past few months as Neptune has been square the north and south nodes making it hard to make out the path ahead. But at the New Moon, Neptune finally gains distance from the nodes, further adding to a greater sense of clarity and purpose. The final big picture will become apparent at the end of the Mercury in retrograde as we awaken to our true potential.

Jupiter brings hope and in the sign of Aquarius that also rules over science, technology and innovation, we are collectively finding hope through the development of a vaccine against the Coronavirus that brings hope to millions worldwide and in the resulting freedom that will ensue. It is a vaccine that has required humanity to work together on a global level for a common cause, which is very much in the spirit of the Aquarian values that recognises that we work better together than alone, if we truly want to change the world.

Personally and collectively, situations or people who try to repress our freedom and self-expression will encounter major resistance as the ruler of the moon the planet Uranus is about to make the first of three tense aspects to Saturn in Aquarius. Uranus is the revolutionary and bringer of change and is pushing the reset button to enable us to live a life of inner and outer freedom based on our uniqueness and inner truth. We are being pushed to evolve and out of our comfort zones

The New Moon in Aquarius reminds us that our true essence is that of a free spirit. It’s our birthright and our innate nature to be completely free. We find happiness when we have the freedom to be who we really are. True freedom starts from within.
