New Moon in Virgo. At 4 degrees. Let your inner God/Goddess shine! 27th August 2022.
We are being teased out of our comfort zones to shine and attract what we seek at this New Moon.
Both Mars in Gemini and Venus in Leo are creating tension, creating a feeling of excitement and restlessness and just enough discomfort so that we can leave our self-doubt and perfectionism behind us. Instead of putting others first, its time to step out onto the stage of life and celebrate your true God/Goddess self and claim what is rightfully yours.
Mars in Gemini in a challenging aspect (exact square) gives the necessary energy, drive and optimism, while the New Moon in Virgo helps to get us focused on what we need to attract and which next step we need to take to make a real breakthrough.
Venus in Leo gives you the confidence to know you can achieve your goals and what ever your heart desires.
We may feel that we simply MUST take action on something, almost as if it is out of our control, as Venus in Leo is in a challenging fixed T-square to Saturn in Aquarius, Uranus in Taurus and the North and South node of fate in Taurus.
Not channeling the energy into action can result in feelings of frustration and nervous energy.
We might find ourselves having to multi task, trying to juggle so many things all at once. The key is to not let yourself get to distracted and keep focused. You will be surprised just how much you manage to get done, but it’s important to focus on what’s really necessary and take time out for self care.
You MUST always take care of yourself first. Remember you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Since both Virgo and Gemini are ruled by Mercury, the focus is on honing our talents, skills and gifts especially around higher learning, health and spirituality. Its about Gaining new knowledge or perhaps becoming teachers of the knowledge, wisdom and skills that we already have, finally setting up that workshop, project, blog, or writing that book that we have been thinking about for ages.
We are stretching our limits, moving out of our comfort zones, becoming clear about the course of action we want to take, our goals, values purpose and vocation in life.

This New Moon is a powerful time to set our new intentions, we have everything we need now and over the next few weeks to see our hopes, plans, ideas and hard work manifesting, taking flight and becoming reality.

Virgo is the sign of the Great Cosmic Mother, the Goddess Herself. She is a mutable Earth sign sign that is ruled by Freya, the Goddess of Communication, Travel and the Power of the Mind.
The Virgo archetype is about the birth and evolution of Spirit into physical form.
Have we been living out out higher God/Goddess calling of the Healer, on the search for truth and knowledge , developing and perfecting our skills and expertise which is offered to the world as service?
Or have we become the self sacrificing martyr, who can’t see the forest for the trees while loosing herself in detail and perfectionism ?
Venus in Leo inspires us to live out our higher calling, improve our quality of life and develop our sense of self, self-will, self-love, personal power and feel proud of who we are. This is heart-opening energy.
It’s time to take PRIDE in yourself, you may find yourself wanting to improve the way you look, add more glamour to your life, get more creative and be more sociable.
We can expand our hearts and joy and reconnect to our inner playful, creative child and shine.

Virgo also rules health and the New Moon brings into our awareness, the need to take responsibility for our health and healing, especially if we are feeling somewhat exhausted emotionally and physically from recent events. Any new health regime started now, will be blessed with long-term success. It’s time to get physical and heal mind, body and soul.
The Virgo New Moon also brings to light, any shadow Virgo issues of perfectionism and self doubt that get in the way of giving our gifts to the world. “I’m not ready yet, I need to take another class/workshop/training, my skills aren’t perfect yet” etc. with fear and worry often being behind these thoughts.
The Virgo part of all of us is learning to understand perfection as a process and practice, not an end result, and the best way to perfect our skills is to use them. Start where you are, take the first small step, and then the next step will become clear.
The New Moon in Virgo together with the fixed T-Square, is pushing us to manifest our destined life path, talents, potentials, and our purpose. Manifesting our talents to benefit ourselves and others without the need to be perfect. There is nothing more rewarding and fulfilling when you start walking in the gifts and talents you have been given.
The Moon in perfectionist Virgo reminds us that we don’t have to be perfect; we just need to take a leap of faith and start taking the first small steps.

We can use Virgo’s eye for perfection, and clever analytical know-how, to manifest our ideas, with fine planning and detail.
The evolutionary goal of Virgo is the development and perfection of skill and expertise which is offered to the world as service. To learn that when you are fully present, the world opens up to you as the miracle it is, you see the God/Goddess in the tiniest details.
Virgo is challenged to develop that which is most perfectible within her, to hone her skills, and to be of service to others and to lose self-doubt.
If you are still full of doubt, ask yourself just who does it benefit when you don’t believe in yourself? Why aren’t we walking in our gifts and talents and trying to learn something new? Why are we not embracing them? And just who does it benefit when we doubt ourselves?
Remember you aren’t just denying yourself by not using the gifts and talents you have been given, but are ultimately denying others from receiving what you have to offer. You have something to give the world that is uniquely yours.
