North Node in Taurus from 19th January 2022 to July 17th 2023. Greater Peace, Stability and Abundance.

The North Node of Fate is our guiding North Star, personally and collectively it points to the next phase in our evolutionary journey. Over the next 18 months we will be learning to integrate the lessons of the South Node in Scorpio together with the North Node in Taurus. As we discover the gold within the South Node, we will move towards a phase of greater stability and peace, as we follow the magnetic pull towards the North Node in Taurus.

It’s a whole new shift of energy when the North Node changes signs into Taurus on the 19th January 2022, the first time since 2003/4. In the practical and down to earth sign of Taurus, we can expect the next months to bring a more harmonious phase so that we can finally come back down to earth and find some calm and peaceful serenity after a tumultuous 2 years that began with the Pluto/Saturn conjunction in Jan 2020 and continuing with the Saturn-Uranus square throughout 2021. 

Over the next 18 months the North Node in Taurus can help us to bring order and harmony out chaos, allowing us to sort out the pieces and lay solid foundations, planting new roots to build new beginnings upon.

The earthiness of this sign will give us the grounded vision necessary to turn dreams into reality.

Collectively and personally we are moving away from the pain and drama represented by the South Node in Scorpio, releasing past hurts, fear, loss and abandonment issues. Refusing to entertain the old pain and stepping out of never ending karmic and emotional patterns. We will be releasing and healing karmic contracts and emotional trauma including trauma handed down from generation to generation.

In order to embrace the gifts held within the North Node in Taurus, we need to understand first of all the lessons of the South Node in Scorpio.

One of Scorpios karmic lessons is to learn how to let go of stuck emotions and trauma.

Whether it’s guilt, anger, love, loss, or (self) betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go. There can be no change and evolutionary growth unless we except change and let go of the past, so that we can embrace more inner peace and create space for better things to enter our lives.

Uranus in Taurus until 2026 will continue to shake us up in order to wake up and embrace the new, where there may have been resistance, helping us to continue to awaken and make the unconscious, conscious (Scorpio) so that we can move towards more abundance, peace and joy that the North node promises.

Taurus represents our security, values, wealth, abundance and mother nature. Uranus in the sign of Taurus is shaking up our once firmly held beliefs in these areas. True wealth is to be found in the well -being of our emotional, mental and physical state and our Planet Earth. Security is something that we should find within and not in materialism alone. When we embrace and channel these powerful energies to create greater wealth in our health, environment and finances while honoring the power of nature and Mother Earth, we unlock the gold within the North node of fate.

Taurus represents the very force of mother creation herself and we too are the creators of our own perceived reality. We need to decide exactly what we want. It’s time for us to take full control of our destiny instead of being a creation of circumstance and fate.

We don’t need to find and follow a path, when we are the path creator.

The Taurus-Scorpio axis is the most spiritually transformative sign of the zodiac as Scorpio confronts us with our mortality and demands that we evolve and transform from within as this is the true meaning and purpose of life.

A fixed sign, therefore resistant to change and personal evolution, Taurus finds peace by letting go and trusting in the transformative process of life that Scorpio teaches, and so find his way to enlightenment and inner peace. To Awaken to a new yearning for not just physical and materialistic nourishment but spiritual as well.

Taurus is ruled by Venus the planet of love and we learn the power of love through Scorpio, the Shaman and alchemist, who can turn everything into love. For ultimately he knows that the strongest force in the universe is the power of love.

We can now become aware of just how great our personal power is and where it lies. We have an opportunity now to correct any imbalance of our personal power, especially if we have been giving it away.

Taurus in her highest form can show us how to achieve a feeling of self-love and self-value, inner security and groundedness by learning to appreciate what we have and to be satisfied with “enough. To be in the present and find happiness in the simple things of life as opposed to the addictive high of drama that Scorpio often looses himself in.

Buddha had the same polarity of Taurus/Scorpio sun and moon in his natal chart. He eventually reached the state of bliss and enlightenment by releasing and transcending the desire of attachments and the physical-self, by developing the desire for self-knowledge and spirituality.

Enlightenment – the awakening of insight that happens in yourself and is independent of others – makes it possible to create an everlasting world of beauty and harmony, the home of Nirvana.

At a deeper level, Taurus-Scorpio teaches us that true inner security is all that remains when ultimately everything else is taken away. When we only have ourselves to rely on. Have we cultivated our spirituality, inner sense of self-worth, strength and love ?, Do we feel empowered with a deep faith and trust in life and ourselves that will carry us through anything that life may throw in our path?

When we know we can rely upon and trust ourselves fully in any situation our fears and unhealthy attachments will fall away. 

We need to be able to find within ourselves an inner safe Haven, peace and sanctuary in the midst of turmoil . 

Peace is more than the absence of war or violence. Peace is a state of mind, a way of being. Peace is how one feels inside. One’s state of inner peace affects personal health and well-being as well as the world outside. To counteract the tendencies that sabotage our health, we need to find ways to clear our minds and restore our spirit.

Scorpio is the most deeply emotional and powerful sign of the zodiac. Scorpio is represented by the Snake or Scorpion at the lowest level of evolution. He can evolve to become the healer and the mystic, with the potential to become and soar like an Eagle in complete awareness, and free of the traps and chains of his subconscious mind and inner destructive patterns.

Standing completely in his power at the third stage and the highest level, Scorpio can evolve to become the Phoenix, who has fully burnt away, toxic and destructive patterns of behaviour. He has had the strength to endure all manner of hardships, face his darkest fears and demons, transmuting them into strength of character, authenticity and integrity. 

Over the next 18 months we too are rising like the Phoenix after being fully transformed and becoming fully empowered and enlightened, and therefore able to embrace greater peace, joy and abundance.
