Saturn in Capricorn direct, September 28th 2020. Success is just within reach!

Saturn stations direct on the 28th September 2020 after a four month retrograde period. Yet another positive celestial event just two weeks after Jupiter in Capricorn also stationed direct. However, there are two things that marks this event as out of the ordinary and quite remarkable.

Firstly, we are entering the last phase and perhaps the most exciting and important last three months of Saturn’s journey in the sign of Capricorn. Saturn first entered Capricorn in December 2017, the beginning of a very difficult and challenging time, that at times has felt like running a marathon, but the good news is we are on the final stretch with the winning post with our success and rewards in sight!

Secondly, any planet that stations direct is especially powerful , but just one day after on the 29th September, Mars in Aries makes a challenging aspect (square) to Saturn. The power of these two planets can be challenging to handle, but the influence of these two planets can give us enormous will power and energy for the final stretch until December 2020. Mars in Aries square Saturn can represent one last road block, but the power of this combination can help us to make an important breakthrough.

It’s a time when many of us may feel under pressure, as a culmination of events can require our complete attention as we wrap up this hugely transformational three year period. Any ambitious projects, work, studies or creative endeavors, may be in the last and most important phase of completion now. This energy can help us enormously with our will power and perseverance to see it through to a successful completion.

Saturn, will reward accordingly to how well we have learned our Saturn lessons these past three years and have put in the work.As much as Saturn often stretches our limits in lessons of maturity, responsibility, discipline and commitment, he also has the power to reward like no other planet at the end of his transit.

Saturn in Capricorn lessons has been one of self -sufficiency, teaching us to rely on ourselves first of all, to make things happen. To take responsibility for our dreams and turn them into reality. Helping us to get highly motivated and determined, with staying power for the long haul and providing us with a solid foundations to build our dreams upon .

Saturn has called upon us to get more ambitious, to take better, more deliberate aim, and to accomplish something of true and lasting significance. Within and without, as we have been building strong emotional resilience. Although we are collectively still being tested with Covid- 19 as we enter the coming Winter season, we will find our inner strength and coping mechanisms are stronger than ever.

There is indeed light at the end of the tunnel, when in December 2020 both Saturn and Jupiter leave the sign of Capricorn for the much lighter energy of Aquarius, that promises a new three year period, one of hope and optimism as we find personally and collectively solutions to old problems through innovative ideas and humanitarian ideals.

Indeed these two planets will lead us into the long awaited age of Aquarius that will become our new paradigm as Pluto leaves Capricorn in January 2024 and enters Aquarius for a 24 year period until 2044.

As Saturn finally separates and gains distance from Pluto, our life transformative experiences of 2020 are finally reaching completion. The conjoining of these two planetary heavyweights starting in January 2020 has been long heralded as a difficult and troublesome year by astrologers. We can breath a sigh of relief and take pride in how far we have come, as we have stepped up on a karmic and evolutionary level these past three years on this deeply soul shaping journey.

The horizons ahead look much lighter and brighter. We can indeed be optimistic, as perhaps one of the most difficult planetary alignments of our lifetime is coming to an end, accelerating our souls evolution during this time, perhaps one of the most intensive periods of our lives.

We are integrating during this last phase, many of Saturns lessons including, our ways of relating and loving, both to ourselves and others, leaving the old dysfunctional patterns behind. Refusing to be governed by fear. No more delusion of self or others but love based on truth and integrity and taking responsibility for our lives.
