Full Moon in Cancer. 12th January 2017, at 22 degrees, 11.33 UT

There is an urgent energy to this full moon that is determined to set us free from any self-limiting or external restraints. Exciting energies are paving the way to liberation and freedom, as all planets are in direct motion and therefore at their highest energy potential, between the 8th January and the 6th February, for the first and last time this year.

A great window of opportunity is opening up to us, as life begins to pick up speed. We are about to embark on an exciting journey that will lead us directly into the next powerful eclipse in Leo on the 10th February, when life will move forward rapidly, helping us to manifest our desires through self-expression, self-confidence and success.

Where you may have felt stuck or stagnant, we can now experience a real breakthrough, especially after the Mercury retrograde , which slowed down and internalised the energies the past three weeks that came to an end on the 8th January.

The Full Moon in Cancer represents our deepest emotional needs of how we feel emotionally safe and nurtured. To move forwards, we need emotional stability; that first and foremost stems from within. This Full Moon highlights how we can love and nurture ourselves first of all. Which is the very foundation of all happy relationships and will help us to move forward in life, to achieve the fulfilment and happiness that we deserve without fear.
The Full Moon is part of a grand cross constellation; building up tension and pressure that needs to be released by taking action. The grand cross represents an urgent need to release and to liberate ourselves from everything that has been blocking our way to happiness and personal freedom. Including subconscious pattern of behaviour that often have their root-cause in childhood, which is represented by the Moon in her own sign of Cancer and has strong ties to our mother and childhood.

By reconnecting to, loving and embracing our inner child, we can begin to feel whole, loved and secure. Cancer needs to find an emotional home, and it is deeply empowering when we can find the trust, love and emotional security from within. Helping to release us from unhealthy dependencies that leave us feeling dis-empowered.

The Cancer Full Moon, reminds us how important it is, to stay open-hearted and true to our own feelings. To no longer perceive our sensitivity and vulnerability as weakness`s but as strength. How we need to live our lives based on love, kindness and compassion. And how we can change someone’s life with often just a simple act of kindness.
