Owning our power.Full moon in Scorpio 22nd April

Owning our power. Full moon in Scorpio, 2,30 degrees. 22nd April 2016.

This is an especially powerful full moon in Scorpio. Unleashing its power and potential in full glory. This is because its the first full moon without standing fully in the shadow of Saturn in Scorpio, that was transiting from October 2012 until September 2015.

While there was a brief respite for the full moon in Scorpio in May 2015, it was still standing in Saturns shadow, because although Saturn moved briefly into Sagittarius, it was soon to retrograde back into Scorpio in June 2015.

Saturn in Scorpio helped us to learn the Scorpio/Pluto lessons of owning our own power. Teaching us how to be fully empowered, to learn self-mastery and to take responsibility for our inner strength and power, actions, decisions and choices that we make.

By relentlessly showing us the truth about ourselves and others. Helping us to leave the comfort zone of self-delusion. Helping us to disempower our fears and buried anger by facing them.Teaching us to be authentic, to take off the mask and to stand in our truth. As well as releasing all that is not love.

We have all mastered these lessons better than ever before, helping us to own our power which ultimately rewards us with the gift of inner as well as emotional strength, resulting in true freedom that starts within.

As always with a full moon in Scorpio, there is a light being shed upon our subconscious mind and emotions. Helping us to dig deep for everything that is suppressed and toxic. Like a deep down cleansing and detox of the psyche to become emotionally healthier and empowered. We are being reminded of the lessons learnt during the Saturn in Scorpio three year period.

Just as we regularly need a detox and a fitness plan for our bodies, to correct unhealthy habits which weaken our physical body, making us ill. We need to do regularly the same detox and health plan with our emotional and subconscious mind. This is exactly what the full moon in Scorpio and the current retrograde planets want to set in motion.

With the rulers of the full moon in Scorpio, Mars and Pluto, both having turned retrograde just five days before the full moon, we are being given a super extra strong, potent emotional detox.

The sun in Taurus, the sign of our values systems and worth, will be shining a light on how we emotionally (Scorpio ) invest our energy and how this matches up with our own values and self worth.  Whether or not our deepest emotional needs are really being met. This can be in love, friendships or work. Is our heart’s desire really being fulfilled?

This very potent full moon, now finally free from Saturn for the first time in 3 years, is amplifying the energy of the Mars and Pluto retrograde.

Mars is triggering in a very urgent and forceful way an immediate emotional detox, everything toxic that has been suppressed for days, weeks, months and even years can suddenly surface.

So don’t be surprised if you find issues that you thought were long dealt with suddenly bubble up to the surface. It could be softly nagging you to pay attention, or could erupt uncontrollably like a volcano.

The full moon makes a positive trine to Neptune so that our intuition is extremely heightened now, important realisations can be made known to us. So listen carefully to your inner voice and compass for guidance if you need to make important decisions.

To own our power and have true inner strength, that is unable to be manipulated or controlled by others, means to know your dark as well as light side, to know and face your inner weaknesses and fears, these are all our inner Demons, that when known, we can then transmute them into a higher form and energy.

We need to be courageous to be truthful with ourselves and others.

Not knowing our inner Demons and left suppressed in the subconscious, they can self-sabotage, be destructive to self and others.
Like a volcano erupting uncontrolled in volatile times.

Or can become our weaknesses, leaving us wide open to manipulation, addictions, and unhealthy dependencies, which means ultimately giving our power and inner strength away.

No one can push our buttons if we are aware of them and have deactivated them.

We need to be especially aware right now as Mars and Pluto retrograde are causing volatile energy at the present time.
We need to be very aware, speak our truth, firmly, kindly, while setting healthy boundaries.

With Venus and Pluto in a tense aspect, we will be looking for emotional depth and passionate erotic in our relationships. We have a chance to go deeper and strengthen emotional bonds. If something has been suppressed, it will, however, come up to be dealt with, while relationships that are not meant to be,could well break apart. Watch out for obsessive love and fatal attractions.

Saturn in Scorpio helped to empower us, giving us so much more strength and courage to face anything that might need to come up for healing, which needs to be acknowledged and worked on, so that we can then release all negative emotions, beliefs and unhealthy patterns of behaviour.

We have the chance to take our power and our inner and emotional strength, to an even higher level than before.

I’m sure we can all look back on the past three years while Saturn was in Scorpio and realise just how far we have come. We have become so much more stronger and empowered than we might give ourselves credit for. It’s a good time to reflect on exactly that.

To have faith and trust in our abilities to deal with whatever might come our way, including any changes needed to be made.

To bravely and optimistically travel our life’s journey onwards and upwards to better places and to reach new heights of our true potential.

The Mars and Pluto retrograde is helping us to consolidate and utilise our strengths to make sure they are solid as a rock.

Once this level has been achieved, it’s there forever and can never be taken away. There’s no going back.

Buddha was born on a Scorpio full moon, Taurus Sun.

“Ceasing to do evil, Cultivating the good, Purifying the heart: This is the teaching of the Buddhas.”
