Full Moon in Cancer, 29th December 2020 at 8 degrees. The Moon Goddess of Love.

The Full Moon in Cancer is the great cosmic mother, the goddess of unconditional love, she is a cosmic gift to help us replenish our hearts with love and to help heal our mind, body and soul. Leaving behind any heaviness as we step into a New Year and a new and lighter Era.

The Full Moon is extremely potent in her own sign of Cancer, which allows an openhearted free flow of love and emotion. A Full Moon is a time of culmination, healing and release and for the first time in three years, the Moon in Cancer is free from the constraints of Saturn in the opposing sign of Capricorn, allowing her to radiate her cosmic love and healing energies at her maximum potential, helping us to release, heal and let go of the emotional turmoil that many of us have experienced throughout the year.

We need to bring peace to our past, so that we can move forward to our future.

Venus in Sagittarius on the south node square Neptune in Pisces represents a karmic turning point to heal any issues around lack of self-love, confusion, addictions or loneliness that many, perhaps more than ever, have experienced because of limited social connection due to the Covid restrictions, it also represents the need to heal and release any painful emotions that we may still hold within our hearts due to past relationships or loved ones lost.

You owe yourself the love that you so freely give to other people.

The Full Moon in Cancer represents our deepest emotional needs of how we feel emotionally safe and nurtured. To move forwards, we need emotional stability; that first and foremost stems from within. This Full Moon highlights how we can love and nurture ourselves first of all. Which is the very foundation of all happy relationships and will help us to move forward in life, to achieve the fulfilment and happiness that we deserve without fear.

“When we heal ourselves, we heal our ancestors from wounds that run deep in our family. When we heal our ancestors, we heal the world from wounds that run deep in humanity”. -Miriam Rose.

The Moon in astrology represents our inner child. By reconnecting to, loving and embracing our inner child, we can begin to feel whole, loved and secure. Cancer needs to find an emotional home, and it is deeply empowering when we can find the trust, love and emotional security from within. Helping to release us from unhealthy dependencies that leave us feeling dis-empowered.

“Find the love you seek, by first finding the love within yourself. Learn to rest in that place within you that is your true home.”Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

The sign of Cancer is one of the most sensitive and emotional signs, the Moon in Cancer reminds us of how important it is, to stay open-hearted and true to our own feelings. To no longer perceive our sensitivity and vulnerability as weaknesses but as strength. How we need to live our lives based on love, kindness and compassion. And how we can change someone’s life with often just a simple act of kindness.

Uranus in Taurus in positive aspect to the Moon helps us to transition with ease into the new age initiated by the recent Jupiter conjunct Saturn, in Aquarius.

Free-flowing dynamic energy is at our disposal, as Mars in Aries the courageous warrior who has, these past six months, bravely fought many battles, for more justice and fairness, as he crossed paths with the three celestial heavyweights Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. He may be slightly battle-weary, but he is now free to pave the way ahead and initiate the New. We too are called upon to fearlessly pioneer our way forward, with renewed enthusiasm into the uncharted waters of the new age, where everything is available for manifestation and nothing is impossible.

A new Era and exciting adventure is about to begin.

“The most adventurous journey to embark on; is the journey to yourself, the most exciting thing to discover; is who you really are, the most treasured pieces that you can find; are all the pieces of you, the most special portrait you can recognize; is the portrait of your soul.”C. JoyBell C
