Manifesting your dreams into reality.
Virgo Full Moon, 12th March 2017, at 22 degrees, 14.53 UT
It’s time to manifest your dreams, talents ideas and projects into reality!
This full moon in Virgo is highly significant and marks a culmination of the past 18 months. It’s the last full moon in Virgo before the North node of fate changes signs from Virgo to Leo in May, heralding in a new cycle for the next 18 months. The North Node represents our life path and destiny. In the sign of Virgo we have been discovering, developing and honing our gifts and talents and now is the time to manifest them into reality.
Mars the planet of drive and ambition is now in Taurus since the 9th of March until the 21st April. Mars in Taurus will support us in making steady progress with determination building on solid foundations, supporting us in manifesting our dreams and talents into success and reaping the rewards. Mars in Taurus promises more success and abundance of all matters of finance, property and creative projects. We will be able to become more aware of how we are wasting our resources and how we can turn lack into more abundance. With Venus in Aries now retrograde we will be looking more intensely at finding new ways of manifesting more love, joy and abundance in our lives.
The Sun in Pisces in opposition to the Full Moon, as well as the South Node still in Pisces, represents our dreams, creativity and spirituality. The Moon and the North Node in Virgo who has an eye for perfection and practicability, now play the alchemist by manifesting our dreams into reality.
This Full Moon is a wonderful time to heal and restore the balance between mind, body and spirit. The past six weeks have been at times tumultuous and tense, as well as fast and exhilarating as we have had two Eclipses in February as well as Mars in his own sign of Aries moving at a dynamic and at times aggressive pace.
Some may have seen endings as well as new beginnings during this time. We can tap into the healing energy of this Virgo Moon and replenish, heal and nourish mind body and spirit now.
Saturn makes a tense aspect to the Moon and Chiron the wounded healer, bringing into our awareness the need to take responsibility for our health and healing of mind, body and spirit. We can make new affirmations at this full moon for a better life balance. Especially if we are feeling somewhat exhausted emotionally and physically from recent events. Since the 9th of March, Mars now in Taurus brings a huge shift in energy. After the fast paced and stressful energy of Mars in Aries, we now have the calming and pleasure seeking energy of Venus-ruled Taurus.
Mars in Taurus can guide us to live in the here and now and enjoy the simple things in life and to reconnect with mother nature. We will be able to feel more grounded as Mars in Taurus is an Earth and fixed sign, especially as we have had no planets in a fixed sign since a few weeks.
Mercury in opposition to the full Moon can give us objectivity and insight to any feelings of confusion and worry that we may have, as the Sun and Mercury in Pisces can sometimes lack clarity, with feelings of confusion. Together with the analytical gifts of Virgo and Pisces ability to see the big picture, this full moon in Virgo can turn chaos into order and clarity. One day after the Full Moon, Mercury changes signs into the action orientated planet of Aries helping as to change from procrastination to taking action. We can move on with renewed enthusiasm and leave old problems and self-doubt behind.
The change of Mercury from Pisces into Aries also highlights the need to face and leave behind any delusions of self and others. As well as the need to have a discerning analytical mind when it comes to discerning fact from fiction and our tendency to succumb to manipulation, propaganda and fake news in the Media.
The Virgo Full Moon brings to light any shadow Virgo issues of perfectionism that get in the way of giving our gifts to the world. “I’m not ready yet, I need to take another class/workshop/training, my skills aren’t perfect yet” etc. with fear often being behind these thoughts. The Virgo part of all of us is learning to understand perfection as a process and practice, not an end result, and the best way to perfect our skills is to use them. Start where you are, take the first small step, and then the next step will become clear.
With the creative inspiration of Pisces and the perfectionist, practical ability of Virgo, we can reach new heights now,
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world”. -Harriet Tubman
