New Moon in Cancer 4th July. The transformational power of your emotions, passions and desires.

New Moon in Cancer 4th July.  13º. 11 am UTC

The transformational power of your emotions, passions and desires.

This is a powerful emotional new moon in opposition to Pluto, the planet of power, extremes, passion and transformation. Giving us a chance to transform and  align our soul’s desires and passions with our higher purpose and happiness.

We can either experience this as emotionally fulfilling, deep, loving and passionate or  feelings of hurt and rejection could be brought to the surface as well as power struggles and drama coming into play. This new moon has the power to bring out the best and the worst in us all.
We could also find ourselves swinging from one emotional extreme to another.

Our deeper passions and emotions have been awakened, and we will be looking for deeper meaning in every aspect of our lives. Superficiality just won’t do.

The Cancer new Moon together with the Sun, Venus and Mercury in Cancer is incredibly nurturing, protective, loving and caring. We will feel a strong desire  to be with our loved ones and families, finding deep fulfilment and happiness by drawing upon the love of our deepest emotional bonds.

Venus in opposition to Pluto can make for sudden exciting and passionate new encounters; that literally sweep you off your feet. As well us charging existing relationships with renewed passion.

Our emotions and passions are running high and we want to get our needs met. There is a strong desire to deepen the bonds and commitment to our current relationships resulting in confrontations if our desires are not being fulfilled.

Pluto the planet of personal power is showing us how we feel either disempowered or empowered. We are being given a chance to correct the imbalance. We can see this happening not just in our personal lives but also on a global level, creating deep divisions between people and governments. The ultimate goal is to restore the balance of power in order to become whole again, where everyone has a feeling of empowerment in a more honest, fair and authentic way.

If we feel our emotional needs are not being met, we need to try and avoid the typical Pluto power struggles as well as being over sensitive taking everything personally as Cancer often does. Retreating back into our protective shells.
Pluto is bringing the shadow side to the fore. Within ourselves and others, so that we can acknowledge what has been subconsciously sabotaging our lives, in order to transform it into a higher constructive and conscious energy.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
― C.G. Jung

We need to try and keep the balance, taking care not to overreact, but rather take a step back, to calmly process our strong emotions. The square from Neptune and Saturn can cause feelings of confusion and disillusionment. But with Neptune making a very healing, compassionate and visionary aspect to Venus, we can gain healing, hope and new visions for the future.
This is a healing process enabling us to live out our authentic emotional self and needs without holding back who we truly are for the sake of harmony. Only when we acknowledge our true emotional needs can we live a happy and authentic life.
This process of healing and integration will culminate at the full moon on the 18th August in an exceptional beneficial way with love coming out the winner as we will have a finger of God aspect to Venus and Mercury , with the moon and Uranus at the base.

We may still feel as if something is hidden from us making it hard to take a decisive step forward. This will become known to us on the full moon on the 19th July when Pluto conjunct the sun will shine a light on the full moon bringing the missing piece of information or emotional clarity to light.
Pluto in Capricorn transforms the old ways of the patriarchal power. Making way for real change and revolution.

The 4th July is Independence day in the USA and in 1776 when the revolution took place Pluto was also in Capricorn (1762 to 1779). This was the last time Pluto was in Capricorn as it takes over 240 years to travel through all 12 Zodiac signs.
An inner and outer revolution has been triggered by Uranus and Eris(Goddess of discord). The Great Awakeners.  We will see a rebalancing of the feminine and masculine powers and more women rising in power and taking a stronger lead in global politics

Ultimately restoring the balance of the feminine and masculine, which in turn will result in more peace, harmony, healing and wholeness instead of division.
Mars in scorpio turned direct on the 29th June and is slowing picking up momentum unleashing new energy and drive within us all. Together with the new Moon in Cancer we have tremendous creative powers at our disposal to co-create the future with Pluto providing the passion and Neptune the vision. With this power harnessed we can make real decisive and constructive steps in creating our future that we desire.
